Poetiken der Bewegung. Tanztexte 1800, 1900, 2000

Tanztexte veranschaulichen auf besondere Weise ein Konzept von ‚Bewegung‘, wie es für die Charakterisierung moderner Verständnisse von Wirklichkeit, Subjekt und Kunst herangezogen wird. Diese Texte greifen die Doppelbedeutung von movere im Sinne von tänzerischer und emotionaler Bewegung auf und dokumentieren zudem Reflektionen über den Ausdruck von Bewegung im Text und durch das Schreiben. Im Elise-Richter-Projekt wird diese spannungsreiche und produktive Konstellation aus Tanz, Emotion und Schreiben aus literatur- und kulturwissenschaftlicher Sicht unter Einbeziehung aktueller Schreib- und Emotionstheorien sowie tanzwissenschaftlicher Perspektiven erforscht.

Poetics of Movement. Dance Texts 1800, 1900, 2000

Dance texts, i.e. texts on the topic of dance, lend a particular shape to the concept of ‘movement’ as it appears central in modern notions of reality, subject, and art. The texts take up the double meaning of movere in the sense of both, emotional and dance movement, and convey reflections on how movement can be expressed in and through writing. In the Elise-Richter-project this intriguing, fertile constellation encompassing dance, emotion, and writing is examined by consolidating the perspective of Literary and Cultural Studies with theories of writing and emotion, as well as perspectives of Dance Studies.
